Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first of his family to be born. After his secondary and primary education, he attend Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained the BSc in Architecture.
AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science. He is also a doctoral honorary from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. The Reverend Chris was at one point a man who was married to Anita Obhodaghe. He and she have two wonderful children.

While still studying at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome got involved in ministry. The Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship currently Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at the time called Youths For Christ.
YFC was growing, and eventually became the biggest campus organization. Oyakhilome In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy.
