So you want to know about the Minecraft 1.19, The Wild update? It was first announced in the month of October 2021, The Wild update is a major addition to the Java edition of the beloved sandbox game and it is now live.

The update features a plethora of new features, from new biomes, like the Deep Dark and Mangrove swamp, new Minecraft mobs like The Warden and the allay mob that was the winner of the Minecraft mob vote in 2021. The Minecraft 1.19 The Wild update includes new world creation, such as ancient cities that spawn underground in the Deep Dark. The Deep Dark also features new items like echo shards and disc fragments.

You can create clay or brinks of mud using the brand new Mud block, which you craft by mixing soil with water. There's also a brand new enchantment, and Frogs will be introduced in this update. We've got all we know about the Minecraft 1.19 release date, along with an overview of the major features.

Minecraft 1.19 features

Deep dark biome

The new Deep Dark biome spawns underground within the Deepslate layer. It will be populated with new blocks. It can also produce things that resemble Ancient cities. The Warden can be found in this biome.

It is possible to create mud by placing water on dirt. This is the case in both the real world and when it comes to the new mud block. To remove the water and make it clay-like, you can put a mudblock on top of the dripstone. Or, you could make mud bricks from it.

Mangrove mangrove trees and swamp biome

The Wild will feature an extensive update to the swamp, including mangrove trees. Mangrove trees can be cultivated from propagules which can be planted in water or at land. INFO They'll develop into large root blocks with vines around them and will eventually become huge trees. Mangrove trees can be harvested for the creation of a new type of wood. You'll also find full-on mangrove swamp biomes.

Boats with chests

We're also seeing vessels with chests in them, which is perhaps the most important. The developers suggest that the larger rivers introduced with the new world generation features will be an ideal excuse to take your storage-enhanced boats out for the ride.

Allay mob

The allay mob, which won the vote, will be part of 1.19 too. It's a small blue fairy-like creature that gathers things for you and likes to dance.

Frogs

Frogs begin as tadpoles, which can place in a bucket, and then develop into one of three types of frogs, namely snowy, swampy, or tropical, based on the temperature of their biome. Frogs will flit towards lily pads when they can. They may be enticed to fall by dripleaves.

Frogs were originally going to be able to eat a new addition to 1.19 which was Fireflies. It was revealed however that these luminous bugs were not going to be introduced in The Wild update after all. They could be present in future releases but most likely as their own thing.
