Minecraft Story Mode Recreation Collection From Telltale Mojang

Minecraft: Story Mode - A Telltale Recreation Series is an episodic, narrative-driven sport series primarily based in Minecraft's blocky world, coming in 2015 to Computer, Mac, cellular units and what Mojang calls "Xbox consoles" and "PlayStation consoles." We have reached out to Telltale for clarification on platforms.

The sport has an unique storyline that is influenced by the choices gamers make, just like Telltale's different offerings, Tales from the Borderlands, Sport of Thrones, The Wolf Amongst Us and The Walking Lifeless. Minecraft servers "Telltale's recreation series will combine new characters with familiar themes, in a wholly authentic Minecraft expertise, impressed by the Minecraft neighborhood and the game that continues to inspire a technology," Telltale writes.

Mojang affords a bit more element about its method to story on its blog: "We're not intending on creating an 'official' story for Steve, or explaining the world of Minecraft in detail. It is going to be a cool sport."

Mojang revealed the collaboration with a mini-sport called Information Quest 2 (which is pretty adorable). Microsoft accomplished a $2.5 billion acquisition of Mojang in November. [Image: Telltale]
