How To Fix Minecraft Launcher Installer Not Working

Although Minecraft is compatible with almost all devices, some people prefer to play it on their PCs. There you can access both Java or Bedrock editions. You will need to first install the games on your computer. If you are having issues getting the Minecraft Launcher installer to work, here are some suggestions to fix it.



Sign out and check the date, time, and region



If you are having issues getting the Minecraft Launcher to install, we first recommend rebooting your PC and signing out and then back into the Microsoft Store or the Xbox apps, whichever you are using to access the launcher. You can now install Minecraft Launcher through Game Pass. To sign out, click on your profile icon in the top right of the window and then Sign Out.



Also, check that your date and time zone are correct on your computer. If they are not, right-click the date and time in the lower right of your screen and choose Adjust date/time. Make sure you have Set time automatic and Set the time zone automatically turned on. Under Synchronize your clock, press Sync now. Before you exit the Settings, click Region on the left-hand corner of the screen. Make sure that the correct region is selected.



Troubleshoot Windows Store, and then update Windows



Open Settings, go to Update & Security, then click on Troubleshooting. - Scroll to the bottom and choose Windows Store Apps. - Follow the process here and then reset your PC. TLAUNCHER FOR MINECRAFT If you haven't updated your Windows in a while, open Settings and go to Update & Security. Click on Check for Update under Windows Update.



Reset the store



If this fails to resolve the issue, we recommend resetting it. Click on your search bar next to the Start button and input wsreset. Click the Run command entry, and a black box will appear. You should not do anything until the black box disappears and the store opens again.



Next, open Settings and select Apps. Look for the Microsoft Store in your search bar. Click on it, then select Advanced Options. Scroll down and choose to Reset. You will need to sign in again.
